I never thought of reading as a dangerous activity- until I watched Simon doing it lately.
Simon has truly hit a new stage of development in reading. He won't stop. Not even while walking. But we're OK with it! Anyone who want to be an enabler, we're happy to tell you all which books are his favorites.
On a different note- Will and I volunteered again this weekend. We drove supplies out to Staten Island to an area called New Dorp Beach. Once there we drove around carrying supplies to where they were most needed. We saw so much being done as part of the clean up effort it was really great. But we also saw intense distructions caused by the water. Houses and boats just completely smashed. The sanitation department seem to be emerging as the heros of this clean up effort and we saw them in action. It amazing what they are trying to do. Please keep helping in any way you can.
