Mischief and Disguise

Hmmm.... Do you think Simon is making a good decision?

And how about Daddy who reinforced the whole thing by taking pictures of the mischief?

We don't know where Simon went, but there was a very handsome man writing in Simon's room tonight.

Brithday Celebration in Mountain Lakes

We had a wonderful quadrouple Birthday (Will, Julia, Robert, & Simon) celebration in Mountain Lakes.
And there was snow! Simon and Uncle Robert had a snowball fight.

And they made angels!

We all enjoyed dinner.

Simon got birthday tickles from Papa Don.

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Simon got to work early today to get Daddy's present ready for him.

Can you guess what we are making for Daddy?

Decorating is hard work! (Believe it or not, Simon decorated with icing, chocolate frosting, and sprinkles for 20 minutes with out eating any. I was flabergasted.)

We love you Daddy!

Fun in early January

Simon now gets to take colored baths when he does 'good listening'.
(Wish they had these tablets when I was a kid! They're cool!)

We had a nice visit with good friends of Don and Jean up in Chappaqua.
Simon thought Tom and Carol were great hosts because they had two (!) trains that ran around the Christmas tree.

Tom showed Simon how to control them all by himslef- what a big boy.

Taking the tree to Mulch Fest in Prospect Park.

A Good New Year

Simon and Papa Don feast to bring in 2009!

Mama and Daddy actually go out to a party! At Brooke (the beautiful blonde) and Faride's house. Much fun is had by all.

Our special friend Hazel came to visit, (thanks to her Dad Hunter making the effort to bring her) and though this picture doesn't show it- she and Simon enjoyed playing together.

Simon also played paparazzi- getting some close ups of Hunter and Hazel.

A snowy day at the Zoo

We went to the Bronx Zoo on 12/31. It was cold, snowy, and beautiful.

Simon made friends with a neat bird.

We met our friends the Snarrs at the zoo. The carousel ride was one of the highlights.

Even better was watching the bears roll around in the snow.

It was great to see the Snarrs. Simon was happy looking around with the three girls, Hannah, Megan, and Ali. And unlike the last time, he did not attack Ali repeatedly. Hannah was especailly great with Simon, playing with him all thorugh lunch. We liked that a lot because it gave us a chance to talk to the grown-ups!
