Daddy might have been a little bored.

Since Mama was talking to Uncle Alan, I decided that Simon should wear my hat and coat.

Simon is already better at cleaning the house than I am...

...but we should probably set the bar a little higher.

Easter

What would you do with a basket full of eggs? (Especially if you were two.)

Why- dump it! (Of course.)

The joys of hunting for eggs.

Simon caught on quickly to the general idea behind the egg hunt.

Cousin Sarah, Cousin Julia, Jim, Grandma Jean, and Grandpa Don had all helped with the hiding.

Simon hears the egg rattling.

And then discovers the M&M inside. Oh boy.

Getting Messy for Easter!

We carefully set up a mess zone to dye Easter eggs in.

Simon loved it and tried to be careful.

Too bad you can't actually see the giant splash of green dye that just happened.
Eventually Simon (wisely) decided the silly wire thing was pointless and he dyed his hands along with the eggs.

Events of Early March

Our building got a brand new baby tree. We call it Simon's tree because they are both so little. (Ha ha)

Simon thinks that bath time is even more fun than before now that he practices with his letters and numbers while he splashes. This great set was a gift from Aunt Lisi and Uncle Robert. Beleive it or not, Simon actually knows a lot of the letters- C,D,H,I,K,M,O,P,R,S,W,X, and sometimes Z. We have decided he is a genius.
