Last Day of School

Simon's class has a tradition of throwing a picnic at the end of the year- this year it was on the last day of school.  There were some pretty funny antics.

And Simon's teacher, Ms. Gorman, came.  Simon will miss her very much, he learned A LOT from her.

Simon's First Real Choreography

Prepare to be happy.

Simon performed at his class' "music day" yesterday.  He choose the music and choreographed the dance all himself.   Watch carefully and you will see a few upward glances as he tries to remember what comes next.

However- we are not really posting this because of Simon's fab dance- watch the audience as well.  It is really moving what happens, especially considering none of them had heard this music or seen this dance before.

Father's Day

We went to Mountain Lakes for a full Garver, Morrison, Garland, Duff gathering.  It was pretty great.  Aunt Lisi had remembered that Simon loved Bleeding Hearts and had planted a beautiful one in her garden.

Cousin Zeke was there being about as cute as cute could be.

There was lots of playing with balls, throwing, rolling, and balancing.

Flowers were explored and turned into inventions.

Arrows were drawn to direct eveyone to the...

Crazy Cousins garden!  (Zeke didn't want to stay in the picture.)

We did have a great Father's and Uncle's day cake and a picture with all of them assembled- but I wasn't behind the camera at that point- I'll make sure to get it from Julia and post it later!  But Don, Alan, Robert, Jeff, Will, and Jim made a pretty fabulous groups of very good Fathers and Uncles.
