Pumpkin Carving!

We had great fun today carving our Halloween pumpkins. Simon had a love hate relationship with the goopy mess- he kept wanting to clean his hands. But would then reach back in.







































Simon also scooped stuff out of the pumpkin into the bowl and then out of the bowl into the pumkin and then out of the pumpkin into the bowl and then...you get the idea.
















Simon's pumkin. The horns were his attempt to make eyebrows, but the unintended effect was great.























Thanks to Cousin Julia for being the documentarian. She did a great job, which she ought to since it is basically her profession.

Super Fun Party

Simon went to his good friend Gabriel's party today. It was super fun! One of the best parts was the great music teacher Joanne.

This is one of the ways Simon likes to watch TV. He kept the pillow there for at least five minutes.

And we are not really sure what was going on here. But we think it was a lot of fun to do and it certainly was a lot of fun to watch.

Probably the Last Carousel Ride (for now!)

Simon couldn't contain his joy when the carousel opened today!
















This is Simon with his special friend Lucio who runs the Prospect Park Carousel. Lucio is an amazingly nice man who is probably nice to everyone, but we think he really liked Simon because Simon always said, "Thank you." and "Bye-bye."
















And- as always- Siomon loved the ride.

Simon really knows how to party! (But if you watch the adults in the background- they do too!)

This dance frenzy happened on our most recent trip to Mountain Lakes, Julia, Jim, Daddy, and Lisi are the grown-ups dancing.
