Our Tradition

A tree that's decorated by sunrise.  Yup.  A special Garland tradition.  

Pop Up Coolness

We went to the museum of feelings yesterday- a free pop up in battery park. 

We waited in a 2 hour line- no joke- and by the time we got to the front it was a 4 hour line!

But we handled it well and the inside was worth it- super funky and fun.

New and yummy food happening near us called smorgasbord.  Simon is getting into it.  Our second time here.

Autumn Hike

We took a lovely hike that was Simon's idea!  Yay for that.  Unbelievably- there were a few snow flakes.

Beautiful 1st Day Of Fall

Simon had a day off school and we celebrated in style.  

Pedal Boating in Prospect Park...

And roller skating.

So this is actually Simon and Delphine looking coo-coo.  But honest- they had skates on.  

Fun Before School Starts

We squeezed in a few fun things before school started. 

A trip to six flags where we did the safari. 

Apple picking. 

And a random giant cucumber. 

There were also awesome play dates and kitten sessions.  

First day of fourth grade.

He was super happy, and clearly nervous and excited arriving at school this morning.

Ropes Course Awesomeness!

We did a fabulous ropes course in Bristol NY. Grandpa and Dad were there too but we only had pictures of the two more photogenic members of the family. 

This last is at the end of one of the many zip lines.
