Candle Pin Bowling

We bowled on Tuesday. Everyone but Papa Don. Our form was not so fabulous. But it was fun. 

The next posts didn't publish on the right days- we walked the breakwater on Monday and fell in love with Pandora on Tuesday. And today we are leaving. 

Love At First Purr

We are not adopting a cat. 

But- we did meet the cat we would adopt if we were adopting a cat. 

Her name is Pandora.  We are not adopting her. 

We really like her. A lot.

Breakwater

It was a bit chilly, but we walked the breakwater this morning.  There were even a few seals sunning themselves. 

And Swimming

The hotel has a nice big pool. We've been having fun and Simon even has a play date with his friend Conrad here today.  

Forced Hike

Simon doesn't like hiking. At all.  We decided to force him and "build character". 

Don't let the smile fool you.

OK. Here we go again.  We decided to decorate first and then assemble. This time. 

And we ate some too.

Yup. We went to a sound of music singalong. We only made it to the intermission but had fun.

In The Morning

How do you top a fabulous Christmas?  Wake up to this. 

Christmas Is Good

Here's a glimpse of our morning. 

It was lively and lovely. 

After all the presents were opened we surprised Simon with one last gift. 

He will look like this a lot now. 

Now- he went to sleep at 9. Woke at 1. Behaved really well, watched a bunch of videos in our bed, went back to sleep at 3:45. Woke again at 6. So after all the excitement as we were getting ready to go to Maine- this happened. 

The Final Installment Of Christmas Eve

Before he went to bed Simon wrote a note to Santa. 

Then he fell asleep just before 9. 

So we did this-

We went ice skating today.  We rent Simon skates when we go. Today it was different. 

This was inside his skate. 

And we won vouchers to see this show on Broadway.

Getting Ready For Christmas

Simon is hard at work on our new family stockings. We will be celebrating Christmas here in NYC for the first time with Simon and ther MUST be stockings. 

Below is an excerpt from his letter to Santa.

Ginger Bread House?

We made (attempted to make) a gingerbread house. It was fun if not house like in the end. We think we will get another chance up in Maine. 

Lots of prices were broken so we started with surgery. 

Squishing was super fun.
