Two Oranges

We had two oranges.  Iva really wanted to eat one.

 Simon really likes the parsely in salt water.  And yes, there is some green dye in his hair.  He asked what the Passover color was.  We didn't know.

Too cute!  They didn't peek and then had trouble finding the afikomen.

I wasn't alowed to use flash photography- but I love this picture of the show Simon and Iva put on.

 

Finally- Some Pictures! At The Zoo

We took a lovely trip to the Bronx zoo.  We brought along Simon's friend Phoebe.

What better way to start our trip than closely examine the map.


We did see lots of animals, but you'll just have to trust us- we do have photographic evidence of the carousel ride.

Phoebe liked the goats very much but certainly DID NOT want spit on her hands.

Simon thought the spit was pretty great.

We saw an amazing display!  Simon and Phoebe fully understood that this was mating behavior and were rooting for the Peahen nearby to marry the Peacock.

We also took in the 4D movie.  It was too scary.  Simon and I left part way through.  Sigh.  Why do people think children want to be scared?

 

New Vic Fun!

We went to see Bello (on the right) at the New Victory theater today.  He is probably the best clown in the US and one of the best in the world.  Mama was very happy.

Reader

Sorry there haven't been many posts lately.  I promise one with pics soon.  But I love what's happening in our house right now so I must share.  We got home rather late and discovered a shipment of books from ebay.  I opened then immediately and a certain avid reader just took one and sat right down right there and hasn't moved for the past 25 minutes except to turn the page.

He's a real reader.
