A Special Visit

We had a sudden and special visit from Simon's Aunt Sofia!
(Who is pregnant with number 3! This time, it's a girl!)

Simon and Sofia had a wonderful time playing together.
Sofia and Julia had a wonderful time talking together too- it was an amazing opportunity to catch up.

Simon also figured out how to put the rolling pieces into his giraffe.
(The girrafe is featured in a much earlier video in this blog.)
He's always liked his girrafe, but now he loves it.

Simon gets to PLAY!

We visited Rochester at spring break. While seeing Grandma Sue and Grandpa Steve was really great, we didn't seem to take many pictures of that. But we did take pictures at the Museum of Play! Below, Simon is meeting his first Giant.

He may not be quite ready for chess yet.

14 months is old enough to go exploring on my own.

Tents, Seders, and Fine Art

Simon's new favorite game is to play in tents- if you are admiring the tent material,
it was hand knit by Grandma Sue long before she was a grandma.

The bumps are Simon and Daddy.

Simon went to his first Seder led by Uncle Robert.
The best part was playing with his new friends, Alex and Will Span.

We think he shows great talent.
And just think how amazing the drawings will be when he stops trying to eat the crayons.
