Sledding!

First you get all bundled up.

Then you trust Daddy.

Then you smile and shout, "Weeeeeee!"

Sledding is so much fun you just keep asking for more!

Christmas in Rochester

We went to visit Rochester for Christmas. Simon really enjoyed everything, playing with Grandma Sue and Pa-Pa Steve, impressing Great Grandma, and (as you can see in this picture) reading to Uncle Alan.

Another highlight of the visit was going to the Museum of Play. Simon got to do a lot like explore construction equipment...

Perfect his carpentry skills... (We thought Pa-Pa Don would especially like seeing Simon in a tool belt.)

And fly an airplane!

Our Own Tree

A few days after seeing the 70ft tree we got our own 5ft tree. We figured Simon would just think of it as a big toy.
Here Daddy and Simon work together to put the tree up.

Pa-pa and Grandma Jean helped us decorate!

Hmm... Which ornament should I taste or throw next?

Boom!

Simon went to his first Dance show! It was wild, athletic, and participatory. He loved it. Here's Mama either throwing or catching him.

Here Simon is flopping with Daddy and Sarah. The performace was Aunt/Cousin Sarah's fabulous Hanukkah gift. Thank you so much!!!!

Simon said thank you by attacking Sarah!

Who me? Get the markers out all by myself? Uh-uh. Never.

The Radio Flyer Debut, The Motion Picture...

Simon figured this thing out pretty quickly. (I should probably stay away from trying to add captions, and just focus on not speaking right next to the microphone.)

Oops- Out of Order! November with Eisingers

Simon got to see his Great Grandma after Thanksgiving.

He also had fun playing with his Graunt Erica.

Grandpa Steve built an amazing block tower...

Simon knew exactly what to do with it!

Holiday Cliche

Well- it has happened. Daddy and Mama have begun the journey of assembly for the holidays.

But it was worth it!

Sadly, these pictures don't show Simon's blazing speed. Thanks for the great bike Grandma Sue!

Winter begins!

The first snow did make Simon a little nervous, but he hung in there and ended up enjoying it very much. After the snow melted he kept going the place we'd played and saying, "Snow! Snow?"

Now that we spend more time inside Simon is reading more. This is how he finds excactly the book he wants.

Simon and Mama read together. (Simon's is upside down.)

Bits of Information

1- Simon weighs just under 38 lbs.
2- We don't know his exact height, but he can reach door knobs easily.
3- His hair will be allowed to grow longer and longer until gravity wins. Any one want to place bets on when that will happen?
