Bulb Arrival

You may remember that last fall Simon headed up an effort to plant bulbs around the buildings. It worked. Here they come. 

We are supposed to get 4-6" of snow today so hopefully they will survive. Probably. 

Zoo Today

Simon wanted to go to the zoo today to see the bee eaters.  He is learning about Ghana in school. So we went and did. And saw lots of other nice things too. 

OK. This isn't an animal. It is a bamboo kite. And then a puppy. I'm glad he's still young. It's fun. 

Strange

It's 45 degrees, raining, and night. This is what Simon wanted to do. Play in the playground. 

Sleep Well

Yup. This how we found him after he went to bed. I had to risk the flash waking him up.
