Hooray for Snow!

Finally we got a big snowfall here in NYC! We took full advantage of it--Daddy made an excellent snow tunnel. And here comes Simon...

Hooray for Snow! (And for snow suits to keep us warm and mostly dry. And for hot chocolate--Simon had his first after we went inside.)

Stats

Official Doctors Office Stats for 2 Years Old-
Height - 36"
Weight- 37 lbs

That means he is near the 90th percentile for height and completely off the charts for weight.

This is good news because it means he hasn't gained much weight in the last few months at all, but has gained inches! Go tall boy!

(And just in case anyone cares, foot size- an outrageous 8.5xw)

What's up in February?

Simon and his Aunt Lisi had a great time playing together on a recent visit to Mountain Lakes. (Simon also played with Wah-bet.)
















Simon, Sarah, and Great Grandma enjoyed time together when we visited Rochester.
















Here's Simon demonstrating his insatiable curiosity. Often a good thing- sometimes not so good.

He's 2!!!

The cake (actually chocolate banana bread) getting ready to go into the party. As soon as Simon saw it he shouted, "Happy doon doon!" and ran and got on the couch. He waited until the singing was over and then blew his candles out. It was pretty cool.

Simon getting to actually ride the bus instead of just shout, "BUS! BUS!" every time he sees one.























Don't worry- he's not radio-active. Simon's just gotten very good at getting his night-light, Blue Man, into the crib with him.
