Grandma Jean's Grandfather was a lobster fisherman here in Maine.
We decided it was time for Simon to learn a bit about this part of his heritage.
We went out on a small boat called the Captain Jack (though the captain was actually named Steven Hale) and learned all about lobstering.
Simon loved it.
He got to see all the steps up close.
Meet some other sea life- here a small eel.
And, of course, play with a lobster!
