On the Fourth of July we helped out Grandma and Papa by marching in the Thomaston parade with the Knox County Democrats. Even though it was threatening to rain we had a great time, there was a band being pulled a truck infront of us and a roller derby team supprting gay marriage behind us- lots of energy!
Afterward we had a delicious lunch at the Slipway- if you are even in Thomaston- eat there!
Then it was time for fireworks- as you may have already read- that didn't work out so well- Simon did love his sparklers!
The next night, knowing we'd have to make it out late again to see the resceduled fireworks, we had a lobster feast. Simon still loves lobster, though he has no techniques for getting into it. Poor Will had to open Simon's lobster before he ould get to his own.
