You Built A What?

UPDATE: Now with photos. But not actually in the right order...

OK- We don't actually know what it was that we built- but it was big and fun to build. It was so cool that we made Daddy come down later to see and take pictures. Here they are-

Along with the giant snow wall there was a snow tunnel big enough for even Mama to get through.

Thanks go to Mother Nature for yet another enormous dumping of snow on NYC. Now that our car is in the garage the huge snows are mostly fun and only slightly annoying when you really need to get somewhere with dry feet. This snow was great because it gave us a day off school that was about 35 degrees and no wind so a perfect day to go out and play. (However- if we continue to get snow at the rate for the rest of the winter we might go to Bermuda instead of Rochester for February break.)

Skipping

The instructions were to skip with your knees very high. Notice- right near the start the teacher calls out good and points right at Simon. Proud parents we are.

In Case You Were Wondering...

Simon really likes dance class.

Open Class

Simon's dance class was open to parents this past week. We were both thrilled to see him and all of the other cute kids.
Here they are waiting for class to begin.

You can see Simon really trying his best in the next two shots.

And here they were told to make the craziest shape they could. We liked Simon's a lot.
