Birthdays!

This is the cake that Simon and Mama made for Will's birthday. Daddy didn't want more sweets so we made the cake out of paper and glue and other fun stuff.

This is Simon wearing the cake as a hat.
For some reason we didn't take any pictures of Daddy.

For Mama's birthday we went ice skating! Here Simon clings on to Mama for dear life. It took some time, but Simon did get better and he was even starting to skate a little on his own by the end. He was very excited the whole time and never got scared or whiny. So we all had lots of fun.

And then we went to Two Boots for Birthday lunch. Yum. (Thanks to Brooke who was photographer, Simon skating assitant, driver, and general all around good company!)

After the Fun

After many many many many runs down the hill, we decided to head back in.

Uncle Alan's boots had barely survived.

And hot chocolate was drunk.

Simon says, "Yup, this was one great day!"

Videos of Christmas and sledding coming soon- hopefully!

And the there was Sledding!

We tromped over to a small hill across the street where we (Uncle Alan, Daddy, Mama, and Simon) were the only ones sledding.
It was great!

There was a lot of laughing.

Uncle Alan went into the bushes. Oops.

Simon did many rins all by himslef! He would even carry his own sled up the hill!
