Race And Rides

Will ran in his 5th Brooklyn Half Marathon!

(That makes 6 half marathons and 2 full ones if anyone is keeping track.)

He had a great race and finished in a time that made him quite happy.

Go Dad!

Simon and I enjoyed Coney Island and only got a little sunburned (OK, a lot sunburned for me) as we  played in the sand...

rode ride after ride...

AND… Drumroll…

Simon took his first ride on the Cyclone!!!!

Mother's Day Promises

For Mother's DayI was given a beautiful necklace made of paper beads.

Turned out I was supposed to destroy it.

Each bead had a promise written on it.

I though this one was particularly funny.

If you can't make it out, it says, "I owe you one day of you being annoying."

That's my sweet sweet boy.

Yup. We Like Roller Coasters

Another trip to Great Adventure.  If it looks like it was cold and windy in the pictures- that's because it was!

We rode many of the big coasters and took some pictures this time.

This is one of Simon's favorite rides.  One time he rode it all by himself- one of his favorite things to do.

We rode the safari and saw neat animals up close.

And had an outrageously fun time on the bumper cars.

Playdate Fun

On Saturday we had a tremendously fun placate with Phoebe.

Roller skating!

And drinking milkshakes.

(I'm not sure these two could be any cuter.)
