Halloween Is Magical

At least it was for us.  We went out to Mountain Lakes to join Aunt Lisi, Uncle Robert, and the Santiago family. Our pictures don't begin to represent the magic. 

Simon was a geologist. Though he wisely decided to leave the rock pick home for safety.

We officially carved our pumpkins tonight.

Howl-A-Ween

We just got done volunteering at the Sean Casey Animal Rescue block party. We were making balloon animals. And we were so busy doing it we didn't take any pictures. But it was fun and we made an extra $42 in 2 hours to donate. 

And because there should be pictures in posts- here's our door for Halloween. 

Staying Up At Night

Simin's been having some trouble sleeping lately which isn't good. But he's made some fun stuff while he's up. 

Highline

We had another great walk on the highline today. It really is a special place where there is always something new going on.

When we picked up Simon after school today he asked Will to carry his backpack. "What is in here? This bag is heavy!"

It was a box of rocks. Really.

Spontaneous Pumpkin Carving

Sometimes the best moments in life come out of no where. 

Things to notice- we used a sushi take out container to hold the goop, the pumpkin is only about 3", and Simon couldn't be happier. 

Sad Car

We had an accident. We are all fine. The car had to be towed.

We will be without for a while but everything should work out fine. Poor little car. 

Another Half

We are having a picnic after another gear half marathon for Will. He ran a 1:48:47. A good time for him on a hilly course.

It's October

Which means Halloween is coming!  Here's Simon working on a craft for our front door decoration. Let's just say it is a good thing fairway bags are white black and orange.
