Simon's Reading

We haven't updated Simon's reading in a while because he reads so well!  Hope you can hear this.  By the way Grandma Sue, he's reading from Spider!  He loves it- totally devoured the first one that came right away.

A Proud Teacher

Most of you know that I teach a chorus at my school.  We had a big performance tonight and I couldn't be more proud of them.  Aren't they adorable?

Happenings

We've been having fun around here.
The evening of my birthday this is how Simon and I ended up falling asleep.  Will thought it was pretty cute so he took a picture.


We went to the Children's museum and Simon still enjoys playing check-out.

He said this snail felt really strange as it crawled across his hand.

We wrote birthday wishes for Martin Luther Kings birthday- Simon's is the one in the middle and says Love + Peace = Happiness.

Triple Birthday

We went to Mountain Lakes for our annual triple January Birthday celebration.
We ate Hibachi style.



Simon's favorite part was the onion volcano.

Don was a good sport trying to catch the flying veg!  Look closely and you can see it.

After dinner we went back to the house for dessert- Robert promised party hats.

But the birthday celebrators enjoyed it anyway-

40 Here I Come

Last night Will took me out to celebrate turning 40.  We know we're a bit early, but when babysitting is available….    It was a wonderful night, he's a wonderful man, and I'm sure my 40's are going to be wonderful too.
